During the Second World War, there were two printing houses in Cakovec, both of which merged in 1946 to eventually form Zrinski.
    
This printer was responsible not only for the production of the first stamps of independent Croatia in September 1991, but they also produced the first bank notes, so important to an emerging nation. Zrinski also produce books, monographs and other graphic products for an ever-growing market.
